AR legend Rob Preston joins WildsideAR19

So while you've been dreaming of an Eco-Challenge spot, getting excited about Godzone or learning about the ARWS Champs at the end of the year we have been working hard on taking the Wildside Adventure Race to the next level. The result of this work is the proud announcement that Rob Preston from ThoughtSports will be joining the Fully Rad Adventures WildsideAR crew for this years race focusing on building an awesome course.

Rob has a world wide reputation in adventure racing and having raced in over 22 countries and hundreds of races this guy knows courses and how to race smart and hard. Seemed like the perfect fit to us - we've taken the final of the 2019 Australian Adventure Racing Series to the rugged and remote NSW Highlands and then let Australia's best adventure racer loose to create a course that people will be talking about for years to come. With a mix like that combined with how we at Fully Rad do things you know you are in for a big weekend full to the brim of adventure.

WildsideAR Southern Highlands Edition is going to be 'that' adventure race the one that takes you to the limit scares you a little but ultimately excites the pants off you.

Don't watch this one from the couch - be a part of Aus AR history. There are a few early bird spots left so don't delay. Teams can be 2 or 4 person and race 12hrs, 24hrs or 36hrs supported or unsupported. Unless you're going for A1 points then its the 36hr unsupported for you! For this race we are supplying kayaks so all you need is your kit, 4 gear boxes, mountain bike and a sense of adventure.

Entry includes - 2 sets of race maps | a high quality adventure filled Rob Preston designed course in a great location | cool race kit | first response medical team | super friendly 'need some help with that?' event team | great web coverage with live tracking | a post-race BBQ | race pack with goodies | ultimate bragging rights | the chance to be named the 2019 Adventure Racing Champs and win free entry to Godzone 2020 in Rotorua.
